I had a friend who told me one of those stories you probably should not tell about yourself. He got his tongue stuck to a flagpole. Wait … that’s not the bad part. He did this after watching another kid do it and dragged away crying with a bloody tongue. He grew up relatively normal. You know, got a degree in Anthropology and wound up producing radio plays for public radio. :)
