    Welcome to Autumn Vagabonds

The sun crossed the line (equator) or rather the line crossed under the sun at 3:50 am EDT this morning. First day of Autumn with temps in the seventies, predicted high 77. Go figure.

To be clear I will not be able to claim my Golden Sheath until 2023. I received the First and Second degrees in November 1972, then came the Christmas meeting (open meeting) and in January 1973 I received the Third and Forth degrees. In just a couple of meeting I was elected Gate Keeper as the chair was declared vacant. As the years have pass by I have held many offices including Master and now I am back in my favorite chair, Steward. It’s been a good run.

Well, the day begins with storms in the aria that are thick enough to block our satellite, but the eves are not dripping, must be the eye. ;-)

A good day to all and may God bless.

    Good Sunny Autumn morning,

Nothing new in the North. Next week we are expecting our first snow in the mountains. It usually happens around Sept. 15. I don’t mind if it’s late.

Last night we watched Torn Curtain. Hitchcock made his appearance in a terminal, sitting with a baby on his lap. I have to look it up and see if it was a relative or an “extra”. Good movie.

    xoxo Happy Trails.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Mark, my dad got his 50 year pin as a sponsor of the Demolay (the boy’s youth group for the masons) not too long before he passed. I still have it and treasure the memories.

Rita, don’t you love trying to find Hitch in his films. My favorite is “Lifeboat”. Not too much room for an extra body in that one. He did have a creative solution, though.

Not much happening here in the West either. We’re in for a cooler day again today (81 is forecast). A new bible study is starting up this afternoon for the women in our congregation. And I am going to do some comparison shopping to see if where I shopped yesterday was cheaper or more expensive than my regular market. I will let you know my conclusions.

    Everyone have a blessed day.
