The only math that people use is regular arithmetic the rest is used by rocket scientist!!! So unless your are a scientist then use algebra and such. Us regular normal people use plain easy arithmetic math!!!
Giving him the answer is not helping. Pointing him in the right direction or suggesting a method might be. btw-you wouldn’t believe how many parents I talked to whose first assertion was they could never do math, and whose question was why their child wasn’t doing better in math.
