“Ratings” do not “news” determine. Keith Olbermann was sensational, but his departure leaves MSNBC even still more significantly rational and fact-based than a certain other channel which boasts significantly higher ratings.
With Comcast taking over it might have been Olbermann doing the escape from the “runaway”, to avoid being dragged down the tube. (No pun anymore- you can’t get dragged down the LCD.)
