Not shown: The Republican wrecking ball which screwed up the first one. The funny thing, Republicans have been planning for 2012 since December 2008.

1st term, White House. 2nd term, Big House. Pretty much all of them since Andrew Jackson deserved the 2nd.

    Dag Lisa… that hurts, lol.

Though I was kinda thinking the first term would either have been a tree house or built underground. The symbolism goes farther yet it’s still silly and could be represented as being less haphazard in construction. However, the sand box is gold.

I think what Lisa is trying to say here is that the first term is only half built but all of Obama’s thought is focused on planning for the second term. He’s left behind what he tried to accomplish thus far by doing his planning more in the middle. Note that the unfinished “first term” structure leans somewhat to the left.

Second term “middle” rhetoric aside, we do know what kind of structure Obama would really build in the second term when he doesn’t have to worry about being elected again. Let’s see who he’s able to fool otherwise.

Jade: And the Dems haven’t been planning for ‘12 since ‘08? Unfortunately, this is the nature of our political beast for both parties.

would you hire this unqualified carpenter to build your dream home?

Half through a term, with Republicans absolutely refusing to hold up their end of the bargain to represent “the people” instead of “their constituents”, it will get interestinger. It will hopefully be possible for Boehner to SO screw things up that no American will be swayed by his idiocy after the next few months. Sadly, he’s putting VERY dangerous folks in key House committee positions, and the people will not see all the harm intended.

the Republicans are definitely trying to represent the VOTERS, who are “the People”!

Those people replaced Democrats in the House, and are monitoring the GOP to see if 2012 will need new replacements due to the Will of the People for less government and more freedom so the private sector can create JOBS…….Deficits and the Debt require cuts in spending, but the President wants to “double the stimulus” instead, after adding $3 to $4 Trillion to the Debt in 2 short years.

Democrats seem to be Deaf to the voters and Stubborn as a Mule in plans to Spend, Spend, Spend!
