I will posit that Trump has no intention of levying ANY tariffs on Mexican goods – it’s all just staged for effect – sometime before they’re supposed to start, Donnie John will announce to the world that Mexico has capitulated in the face of his overwhelming show of resolve and are now stopping traffic at their southern border, and, therefore, he doesn’t need to levy tariffs, any more!
After all, he doesn’t NEED any caravans advancing on America until closer to his election, anyway!

Tariffs are a clever form of sales tax. Tiny’s base thinks they are winning then the cost of what they buy goes up over $400.00 this year.
