Gary, you obviously haven’t a clue about what a human embryo looks like. It looks nothing like that either by appearance or size. Try something that would fit in a matchbox and almost indistinguishable from the embryo of a chimp, gorilla, and most mammals. They are NOT aborted babies, they are aborted embryos and fetuses, and using weasel words won’t change that.
When I was in the army, a mechanic in the motor pool lost the tip of his little finger in an accident. We took him to the infirmary but, we didn’t have a burial service or cremate his lost body part. That would have been ridiculous.
This Indiana law is just as ridiculous. Those lawmakers and judges need remedial education. They don’t appear to be qualified to be legislators and jurists.
I wonder if these lawmakers and judges are going to spring for the costs of these burials and cremations. Certainly, a family that can’t afford to properly raise a child, after borrowing the money for an abortion, won’t be able to afford funeral services.
This is one of the most asinine laws coming out of Indiana yet .. and I live in Georgia where poorly conceived and thought out laws are the norm.
What is happening to our Country ? It’s being run by semi-literates. I hope the next election begins to turn things around.
Hmm, all those fertilized eggs that don’t attach to the uterus (about 50%) and go down the toilet? At least, yet, they haven’t demanded funeral services like some want. Challenge these guys, yes guys, to tell the difference between a six week human fetus from many other species at equivalent gestation stage.
The Supremes allow that the state may require certain behavior about certain categories of things: You must have a license to handle dynamite; you must leave some number of feet of unharvested timber along streams; you cannot bury your dead except where authorized;… and medical remains of a particular type must be treated as specified. If the price is too high from one service provider, the door opens for another to do the job less expensively.

What about miscarriages? Do they need burials too? Do those fetuses need dignity?

Like all Trump Disciples, Varvel believes human dignity begins at conception and ends at birth.

He’s in cloud cuckoo land. Are they going to insist they be buried like good Christians?

A woman has to make this difficult decision, And Indiana wants her to pay for it. Is this what Christianity looks like?

So a woman who has had a miscarriage now must dig through the blood and gore to find the fetus and deliver it to a funeral home?
You Americans are getting crazier by the day.

Will the undertakers make even more more profit now? Let’s see who lobbied for this inclusion in the bill.

Let the baby live. If you do not want it put it up for adoption. Many humans would love children.
