Fusion like a thermonuclear bomb (hydrogen) is like when the kennel heater breaks down and everyone huddles together for warmth in one huge furry mass of cold doggies. It just takes one ill-placed fart to make it all detonate.
I was going to say that looks more like fission. I liked back in the day when Bill Nye had a bunch of moustraps with little concave cradles holding Superballs in them and they were all in a large clear plastic box. He dropped one ball in and it triggered the first mousetrap which launched the second ball, and this continued until all the superballs were bouncing off the sides and top of the container
