It’s our party and we’ll argue as we always do about anything and everything. Certainly better than having Mitch leading the band.

Defeat Trump is the best chance of succeeding and far more satisfying.

Hmmmmm, the news alert that just came out (link below) is ANOTHER example of people NOT charged in the initial crime being charged with Obstruction of Justice, but Trump’s personal defense lawyers have been saying that Obstruction is not a crime if the person was not charged in the initial crime! THAT is a mainstay of their defense for Trump’s repeated Obstructions. Under that premise these two people also committed no crime.

What we have here is a failure to communicate. Corporate dems like Pelosi want to keep shoveling money to their Wall Street masters, while real progressive dems want to give the poor a much needed break. Tax the rich, they can afford it.

Impeachment won’t result in him leaving office (unless something truly astonishing happens to the Senate, like maybe a dozen or so of them grow a conscience or finally decide to uphold their oath of office). But it does make for great political theater, and it does have at least some chance of shedding a little light that might even influence the upcoming vote in a way that makes sense for Dems. And it makes it perfectly clear that the Dems are in fact working to remove this suppurating wound on the body politic.

On the other hand, it might further rile up the Gross Ol’ Perverts and their minions in ways that could boomerang on the Dems.
