We’re socked in with clouds but, the mists have risen. We had rain throughout the night with lightening and thunder, I just checked my weather app and there is a green blob (rain) on the radar near home. We shall see.
IT’S SPRING! We heard the peeper frogs last night when we came home from a meeting at church, what a beautiful sound.
Another sign of spring is the Red Trillium are in bloom, a rare wild flower. There are two other Trillium, the Painted and the Yellow, both are very rare especially the Yellow. And that is you lesson on rare plants.
We watched an old (1935) Burns and Allen movie last night. “Love in Bloom”. Talk about funny and silly! That Gracie was so believable in her craziness. Lots of fun! Dixie Lee was the female lead. She was only 41 when she passed away from ovarian cancer. So sad leaving Bing and the 4 kids behind at so early an age.
I looked up your wildflower, Trillium, Mark. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them. Pretty little guys, though.
With the computers at the condo, I don’t get a chance to log on until we get here, so I’m late.
The cabinets are all in place and look really good. They need a bit of tweaking – doors lined up, etc. – and they need the countertops. Fabricio was supposed to call about 10 to let us know when he would be here, but he hasn’t called yet. (It’s 12:30) We’re getting a little disgusted with this guy. He’s very talented, but he doesn’t call when he will be delayed. He finished early, so we got to go back to the apartment and spend time with Smokey. She’s been left alone an awful lot this past week or so.
Today we built the two nightstands, and the set (nightstands and headboard) look really nice. I can’t wait to get the bed in there with them.
We also stopped at Office Depot to buy the chair that Michael wanted, and it was on a clearance sale! They took another $70 off the sale price price. We ended up with a $300 chair for $150. We have run into some phenomenal deals in our purchases for this house.
It’s 67 outside at 12:30 with a forecast high of 75. I don’t think it’s gonna get that warm.

Good Cloudy (again) morning, Vagabonds,

Not much on the agenda today. Enjoy your Monday.

Good noon time Vagabonds. After a brief T storm last night, today has turned out beautiful with plenty on sun and temp in the upper 70’s.
Nothing going on today other than putting out the rubbish barrels.
Maybe I’ll take a nap.
A good day to all.
