Exhibit A – I enter Best Buy by myself. Staff sneers with obvious disdain and pretend to be busy. If I finally manage to snag one, I am treated with condescension or disdain until I finally am fed up and leave – without making a purchase. Exhibit B – I enter Best Buy with my 20-something son. Clerks trip over one another in their eagerness to wait on us (him). They are pleasant and professional. I am even more annoyed, then go home to buy recommended item online.
