Reminds me of an old joke from the USSR days. A voter in Russia goes in to cast his vote. He walks in the door, and they hand him a sealed envelope and tell him “here is your ballot. walk over there and put it in the ballot box to cast your vote”. As he walks over, he starts opening the envelope. Panicked election officials run over and stop him, asking “what are you doing?”. He says “I just want to see who I’m voting for”. “You can’t do that” they answer. “This is a secret ballot”.
