I was wondering about the team colours…António seems a little out of date. Current Germany ‘10/’11 away is black shirt, white shorts. Home is white shirt, black shorts ‘08/’09 colours were away red/red and home white/white.
Just another little interesting titbit:
Germany this year hosts the women’s Football World Cup which could be what António is referring to? Hmm, would the women’s team colours be different to the men’s?
Meh, what do I know about Fußball anyway.
Although I haven’t read the Expresso as I usually do after my mom finishes her copy as I was out of the country, I’m guessing António here means Merkel/Germany will be THE national team in driving the euro to goal this year.
