I heard that the split could make Southern Sudan the poorest country in the world just starting its indepencence.
They’ve got lot’s of natural resources, which is why the fighting started in the first place.
Oh, well. Right now South Sudan is dirt poor AND in civil war. If it seperates, maybe it will just be dirt poor.
