She’s way too lenient…it should be clean it up and do it correctly or you can spend the rest of the month in your room after school, no TV, or anything else; just you in your room. Period end of discussion. Both my grandmother and mother had the same philosophy. I learned it fine and turned out the same as they did with cleaning and the house. My sister, however, not so much…..and same went for my brother.

Split the mess among all the rooms in the house. That way none are very messy or looking out of sync with the rest of the house. (jk)
