Reminds me of how I discovered The Avengers. No, not the comic book people. I’m talking Steed and Mrs. Peel. There was just the slightest chance it was a show about a squad of torpedo bombers from WWII. The TV listing didn’t specify. Obviously it was not about that subject but ten minutes into the show I was hooked.
