I have read this strip since it first made US papers (yes, I’m old), and I have thought for a long time a hilarious arc would be Capp really having to try a job.
Offering Andy a pint when he could have a job and pay for it himself is counterproductive.
I can’t believe I said that. This is Andy we’re talking about. Even in the unlikely event that he did get a job, he’s still unlikely to pay for his beer.
Yes, it was a little disappointing but I have some (slightly) good news. I’ve found an earlier appointment for April and booked it. I’d like one for this month or March so I’ll keep looking.
There are some people out there who are as “sharp” as a cactus. By that I mean abrupt.
I’m not having my usual pizza on Sunday this week. I’m having Fish & Chips again.
