    According to the real rules of golf, your ball falling off your tee only counts as a stroke if it fell off as a result of you attempting to put it in play (i.e. you swung at it). Wind, bumping the ball with your club as you address it, etc. don’t count. Of course the “attempt to put the ball in play” bit also works the other way. If you swing and miss, it counts as a stroke, even if the ball remains on the tee.
