Should have fostered and let Harry pick his own buddy. When we had two cats, we couldn’t foster, because Pepper would not tolerate other males and Duchess would not tolerate other females.
Once we’re ready, we’ll be fostering older females to see if one will suit Master Pepperpot as a co-owner of the family.
And yes, Jason and I made the decision some time ago that we will only foster/adopt the older/hard to find homes for pets from now on… they need us more

Harry’s consoling himself with the thought that he’s better off here than in the shelter. Also he now has Len full time to adore.
