Time to stop reading this strip, as they now go into another repeat storyline for the umpteenth time. There are SO many others written by Al Capp through the years, yet the same few continue to be recycled ad nauseum.
Since I just started reading this strip (remember a version from my childhood), I find it quite intriguing. The language, however. Was it always so strange?

I enjoy this strip. I’m a new fan and recall a version of it from my childhood days.
