I had a beautiful black snake on my front porch about a week ago. It was about 4 feet long and my semi-feral wanted outside to kill it in the worse way! I told her no, he helps keeps the copperheads away. There was a beautiful gray snake about 6 feet long in the back of the house last year. I do hope it is still there. They hang out in the bushes in the landscaping.
