    Good morning Vagabonds.

Looks like today is going to be close to the same as yesterday.

My son and I did quite a lot of cleaning up in the yard during the day.

Later on when it got dark we worked at getting Christmas decorations up. Just about done with them, just a few more to do.

Most likely will be able to finish them up today before we go to church at 4 pm.

May you all have a good weekend. We will be having some rain on Sun. I don’t know how much.

    Good Saturday Vagabonds

It’s hot for this this time of year, well, this year anyway. About 36 degrees (above), a cold front went through last night, mixed perspiration, made our slippery path not so slippery.

Watched my third “A Christmas Carol” yesterday, this one titled “Scrooge” (1935) staring Seymour Hicks. I have, I think, eight variations of the story. Each “A Christmas Carol” or “Scrooge” has it’s own stile and look and the story has even found it’s way into many TV shows. Love it.

Saturday, make my way to Newport and get food. Y’all have a wonerful day.

    Good Beautiful Dawn morning, Vagabonds,

The sky is just light enough to show a few clouds. Can’t wait for them to turn pink or red. We had another 40-ish degree day yesterday. As long as I was in the sun, it was perfect!

When we get back this afternoon from our “last minute” shopping, I’ll start wrapping the presents and load them in the car. That might take me a day and a half. When we come back, the house will be all clean and smell so fresh. Love it!

    xoxo Happy Trails.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Today, the quilters at church are having their annual Christmas gathering. Instead of working on the quilts, we will have snacks and fellowship.

Well, the repairs on the tub didn’t work so well. It still has a giant puddle in the middle, albeit not quite as deep, and the surface is already starting to blister. We were told to wait 24 hours before using it and waited almost 48. We use a bath mat and the suction cups pull the surface right off its backing.

We had a lot of fun at cards last night. A new couple joined us who are here in Vegas for the winter, living in an RV just up the road from where we were staying. They are even interested in buying the surge protector that we have fore sale.

I got “nibbles” on the sale of the three more expensive items through Craig’s List. All three of them turned out to be “we’ll pay you extra to not sell it to anyone else” and then "we’ll send you a large check and you can pay the “agent” we will send to pick up the item the difference between the check and what we owe." One of them wanted to send me a check for $2000 to pay for a $550 item. Of course, it will turn out that the check is no good and I would be out the difference. I immediately cancelled the sale. No way I am going to fall for that scam. The thing that got to me though, is that it was all 3 of them!

The weather is pretty much unchanging. It is a bit warmer (62 instead of 59) though.

    Everyone have a blessed day.
