In an earlier pass through of this story, during the pursuit, Jane had a .22 pistol, like a Ruger, and Jill used it to pepper the pursuers, who ended up in the ditch.
When you get back, I imagine the story will have a few embellishments. At least twice the inter relationship dramas. And that BEFORE they get to the fury dream/hallucination part.
