Mark, at least the “dern snow blower” is keeping you busy. It beats sitting around waiting for the snow to melt.
Yesterday went pretty much as planned. Prayer group, cross-stitch. I did throw in a bit of cookie baking, though. Chocolate chip. Can’t beat warm fresh cookies.
The weather is staying pretty consistent, 60’s in the daytime and 40’s at night. Sunshine with a few scattered high clouds. We do get occasional breezes, though. The inside of this apartment stays relatively warm even when I turn down the thermostat at night. It hasn’t gotten below 70 in here yet. Having another living space on two sides and above insulates pretty well.
Just love the bright, clear skies these last few days. Supposedly Friday and Saturday will bring a 75% chance of scattered snow showers. Doesn’t exactly sound threatening, since the temp is supposed to be in the 40’s.
On the doctor visit front, they removed Jack’s staples yesterday. The incision looks really good! He still has a long way to go as far as inner healing. They cut through two muscles, so that’ll take a while. He did take an x-ray because Jack is experiencing new pain in the groin. But, thankfully, nothing is out of place!
Good afternoon Vagabonds. At least it’s not raining today. Temp is about 40.
I’m late today as I had an appointment with the foot doctor. Looked my feet over, trimmed my nails and said happy thanksgiving and see you in three months.
Then I had to do a few errands.
Tomorrow we go to our daughter Karen’s house. Not far to go. About 6 miles, takes about ten minutes.
Going to be very cold with temp in mid teens.
Rita: Glad to hear things are going alright with Jack.Yes, it will take time for him to heal inside. We know from Barbara’s partial hip replacement. She fell and broke the ball off.
Hope you all have a happy thanksgiving tomorrow and don’t eat to much.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve Vagabonds
Some snow this morning, overcast with occasional snow squalls to help with driving.
Well, another exciting day ahead of me keeping the home fires burning and trying to get that dern snow blower to work.
May your pleasures be many, your troubles be few, catch y’all tomorrow.
