We’ve got snow, why do we have snow, it’s to early for this kind of snow. :-(
The lights have gone out three times so far, just some short term outages, but they have a bad habit of getting longer. Wood stoves aren’t plugged in, the gas stove isn’t plugged in ether.

Mark, our gas stove is plugged in, but only for the control panel (that has shorted out again) and the pilotless ignition. I suppose we can use matches to light the gas, but the oven doesn’t work at all without power.
Yesterday we continued to whittle down the pile in the small storage unit. We have reached the point where I can actually see the boxes that have my dishes and good wine glasses in them. They are still buried, but at least I can see them. We only spend about 1 1/2 hours each day working at it because it is very physical work, but even at that, we probably only have about 2 or 3 days work left.
Prayer group this morning, and I will share the good news about Jack.
The weather continues in the mid to upper 60’s during the day and 40’s at night, although tonight’s predicted low is 38.
Jack is doing incredibly well but I am exhausted! Thank God Laura is here to help! She’s even splitting wood for us! I never realized how much I depend on him. But, in a few weeks he’ll be his old self again. I have been driving, so that’s not a problem.
Other than that, I have nothing to do (yeah, right!).
Has been raining here since about 2:00 a.m. this morning and have accumulated 1 1/2 inches. Temp is not bad at 50.Supposed to be stopping soon but I’ll take that with a grain of salt.Will be going to the prayer meeting tonight but at least it is not too late.
