What’s Breen’s beef? Are they not excluding voters quickly enough?

Steve! What’s your problem with the Cal. DMV, they are good people! Did you get a ticket “you” thought you didn’t deserve.

Uhm, why CA? Aren’t all state’s DMVs kind of slow and can have lines that are too long.

The big complaint in the News is that they registered 23,000 illegal Aliens to vote.

I’ve learned to cut down on the DMV lines by using out lying offices in small towns. As I have land about a nearby small town, I’ll use their DMV office.

I don’t know how it works in California, but here in Oregon we have a similar law. However, the DMV does not actually register voters, it collects the information and, unless the person filling out the form checks a box saying not to, they send it to the department that handles voter registration for processing. They decide if the applicant can register or not.

How nice. The California DMV plate shares it’s new motto with Air Force One’s registration. Same colors too.

The DMV doesn’t register voters. It hands out applications to anyone that requests it.

California DMV had 13 years to implement Real ID program, people are stuck in long DMV lines just to renew and update their driver’s licenses. While lawmakers consider changes or improvements, people wait in endless lines. More people are going to the DMV to get the new license, which the Federal Government is requiring starting in 2020 for people who want to board a flight without a passport.

genome is trying to claim that 23,000 illegals were registered to vote. That is what happens when you don’t read the actual article and the data behind it. That is a lot of erros, but that isn’t the number of bad registration, 1500 is and ZERO were illegal.

Their link points to a story with the data rather than an op-ed piece. From that story, "In early September, the DMV revealed it sent 23,000 erroneous voter registrations. These additional 1,500 errors occurred when DMV technicians processed customer requests at field offices to change voter eligibility responses on driver license applications.

The DMV said none of the processing errors occurred through the fault of the customer. None of the affected customers are undocumented immigrants."
