That means he would have had to have it linked to his iPhone via Bluetooth for them to record it. However, Bluetooth is a short range technology. Even if his fiancée had his phone outside, it would be very unlikely to pick it up. It sounds more likely that Turkey has the embassy bugged, and they are using the apple watch story as a cover.
