Our temps are about 20 and the sky is partly sunny. Forecast temps are low 30s.

In the local news someone paid off every layaway account at the Derby, VT Walmart over the weekend. Unfortunately I didn’t have a layaway.

Have you got your bird yet? Ours is slowly thawing in the fridge getting ready for the big day.

Nice sunny day with temp in mid 40’s.

Most of the snow has gone.

We are all set for Thanksgiving as we are going to our daughter Karen’s house. They are predicting it to be very cold with temp in 20’s.

All we have to bring is our selves.

I haven’t been shopping for Thanksgiving yet. This coming few days will be a flurry of preparation activity. With Mike up in Elko, it will be just the two of us (and Smokey).

Off to church this morning. I’m not sure what else will be happening today. I did get a lot done on my cross-stitch yesterday. I’m working on a nativity scene, and have almost finished the central stable portion. Of course there are 4 more sections to go…

It was 15 this morning, and supposed to get all the way up to 41 this afternoon. Nice.

Jack is doing better each day. But, of course, I’m running myself ragged. But on the “plus” side, I’ve lost 3 pounds since he’s come home! Hooray!

We have no plans for Thanksgiving except FaceTiming everybody and thanking God for the beautiful life He has given us.
