. . . I once worked with a guy, who would call in sick, EVERY other Friday! It became a pattern, on the Friday just after a payday! Since, he was in “customer service”, I got stuck with his work on those days. My husband, told me that in “his military mind”, my coworker was abusing drugs. After, I left, I contacted him and he actually bragged to me that “he used drugs and got away with it!”! I told him that he didn’t, because of his pattern and the health problems that he was dealing with. It wasn’t long after, that I noticed his obituary in the paper. Quite sad. :’(
