GATURRO: I really like the coloring in today’s strip, and also the facial expressions. But I’ll leave the translation to someone else today.

PHANTOM: Wow! I still think Heloise’s dad is going to show up – but he won’t need to rescue her, as H. has done a good job of rescuing herself! She has her dad’s genes!

JUDGE PARKER: The older woman calls April “darling.” Is that Katherine (Randy’s stepmom)? Or, is it April’s mom (Abbott/Norton’s wife, or ex-wife). Either way, little Charlotte is her granddaughter.

MANDRAKE: The article is about an aviatrix named Amanda Riff, but there are similarities to the Amelia Earhart disappearance.

CRANKSHAFT: As the former classmates enjoy their class reunion, Lillian turns and sees a new arrival and her jaw drops. Who is the newcomer? ???

MARK TRAIL: The kids pass up the magazine called “Slime,” and pretend to read “Fists of Justice” and “Giant Squirrel.” lol

Gaturro – “Yes, exaggerating always adds up!” But if you’re going to exaggerate why not go for hundreds, thousands, or more?

Judge Parker – It’s definitely not Katherine, and I thought when they went to Mexico for the wedding, Abbot/Norton was April’s only parent. History, consistency, making sense seem not to matter.

Mandrake – When the Harwoods (Rex Morgan) were going to Lawrence, KS, they could have also gone to Atchison to see Amelia Earhart’s home. If they were coming from the east they could have also followed a part of the Lewis and Clark trail.
