    Good morning Vagabonds.

Has cooled off a bit tonight with temp in the 60’s then going into the 70’s later on.

The rest of the week will be back in the 80’s.

Hope the fires in your area will die down so you can breath again Rita. At least you are not near the flames.

You should have had good weather going to Maine Jan.

Peace to all of you today.

    Howdy Vagabonds

Wow! I’ve seen another sunrise, that means I’m still alive! (^.^)

Going by the internet page from WCAX it looks like it’s going to be a fine day but for tomorrow they are showing a dark cloud with a lighting bolt. (wonder what means) ;-)

Slow day, guess I’ll lie low and enjoy it. Y’all do the same, hear?

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Welcome back Arye! You can use the same technique to find Gaturro and join us there, too.

Arthur, we had great weather driving up here. Sunshine most of the way with a few clouds, but no rain. The drive was nice, but there was one tight spot in one of the towns we drove through. We almost hit the mirror on a power pole again. The poles were right at the curb line going through town and at an intersection there was a car in the left turn lane and Michael was trying to thread his way through between them. Fortunately we were going so slow that I was able to stop him and he edged back to the left a few inches to miss the pole.

I called my brother yesterday afternoon after we got set up, and we’re getting together this morning. I haven’t seen him since 2010 when we went on the Alaska cruise with our other brother and our spouses. I can’t wait to catch up! And Michael is looking forward to a few chess matches with Don. They are pretty evenly matched and both really enjoy the game.

It’s a bit misty outside right now. The forecast is for the low 70’s today. I plan to enjoy it!

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good Rainy morning, Vagabonds,

We had some good rain off and on all day yesterday. And the temp topped off at 50 degrees! Loved it! And there was intermittent snow up at MacDonald Pass!!! That’s the earliest we’ve ever seen it!! They’re about 1800 feet higher than we are.

Along the fire front, this rain had a great impact! It is now 65% contained! WooHoo! And, they’re down to only 89 firefighters working the mop up. It was interesting to watch the operation, and how methodical they have been. Great work! Now, if there could be some rain in the California forecast, the smoke across the valley would go away.

    xoxoxo Happy Trails.
