Once he is President there isn’t much he could do that would damage the prestige of the office more than that simple fact. But, he certainly done his best to add to that damage. Trump is using the presidency to benefit his business affairs. He wants a Trump tower in Moscow and smooching Putin’s backside is the means to that end ( pun intended). He isn’t deliberately destroying America any more than I am deliberately destroying an ant hill when I plant a tree. Any damage done to this country and its’ people is just collateral damage.
The republicans started the decline of the presidency when they thought the likes of Sarah Palin would be a good fit. trump has just taken that to a next.. next level. Now enjoy your man while the dignity of the office has been tarnished beyond repair.
