Decades ago, there was a male blackbird that used to come in through the open terrace door, hop in to the adjacent living room, where – under the dining table – our wiener dog’s food bowl used to be.
He even introduced that to his offspring!
Our bitch was well-behaved – once, a young blackbird fell off a branch; she reported it, I put the youngster back on a branch – and the mother scalded it later. ;-D
