We are settled into our new space in the woodsy area of the campground and will be here until next Wednesday. We’ve even got sunshine this morning. Yesterday got up to 94! It’s not supposed to get quite so hot today, and the forecast is for partly cloudy instead of t-storms.
Smokey is not too sure about the process of closing the slide-outs. The combination of a loud unfamiliar noise and the walls closing in aren’t too conducive to a kitten’s peace of mind. She didn’t mind the reopening nearly so much. I suppose it is because the walls were moving away from her instead of closing in. Pinto is so used to it he doesn’t even move from wherever he’s perched. She’ll learn, too.
Supposed to get up to 80 today! Time to drag out the ole BBQ. I’ve been anxiously waiting for warm weather to grill a steak. Jack doesn’t like steaks, so it’s probably a hamburger for him.
I got a 4 lb. box of strawberries all prepped and frozen. They sure will taste great in a few months. Think I’ll get more the next time we’re at Costco.

I was looking at the channel 3 website weather page and it said broken clouds, I wonder if somebody’s going to fix them. ;-) Temps lower 70s.

Nice day today with temp in mid 70’s.Had unexpected T storm last night.
Wen to eye doctor this morning for the follow-up on my eye and he said everything was good and to come back in four weeks. PTL
