    What worries me is how inflation is measured. If it doesn’t consider food, and most of the other normal things we pay for, duh?

    The economic monsters China faces are different to the Western economies’. In fact, we are also theirs just as they are ours. Ahhh, the fun of being a global economy.

    I think inflation should be measured with thing that we need. Food and gas. Get rid of the hedonics scale. I do not need to buy a TV.

    This is the older people’s contribution to the deficit and balooning SS and Medicare costs: Their savings get inflated away. The young people pay the other half, in inflated dollars. The big joke is on the bond-holding Chinese.
