That would be much more appreciated than my parent’s response which was usually something along the lines of, "Would you PLEASE put that [epithetic] book down and go OUTSIDE FOR A WHILE!
Given ALL that, my parent’s response to my book reading as a child led to my total appreciation of ‘lounging’ in the house with a book in hand as an adult, so I’m not really complaining.
