I see the new technologies as natural steps in the evolution of human inventiveness. It should be no surprise that there are hazards and pitfalls just like those in the previous technologies. Hopefully we can learn the best ways to use them with maximum benefit for all, as failing to do this will make even bigger catastrophes.
