I’ve heard of such a beast – he comes out on Tuesdays and talks about bi-partisan deals for immigrants and gun control. Usually by Thursdays his handlers have reprogrammed him on what his correct teleprompter lines are – and then he behaves. If the president had a spine, he wouldn’t have to be walked back on so many of his bi-partisan plans. he would be the negotiator he said he was and get things done. This lame duck just does as he is told by the last person in the room.
