Belief is useless. Proof to convince is what you want. Hypothetically with what we know life will be abundant in our galaxy and probably all galaxies. Intelligent life of our type would be extremely rare. And with all the difficulties that such brain development can cause most would self destruct maybe before they even go far in space. So yes extraterrestrial life exists, intelligent ones visiting us? Highly unlikely. Subverting our govt? Even more unlikely.
