Were not allowed to profile them or we are labeled racists! And since so called moderate Muslims never denounce radical Muslims they are all guilty by dress and association!
Yes, racial profiling is racist and wrong and if we do it then we are no better than those who commit man made disasters. In essence we are no better because no one is better than anyone else. We are all equal in the sight of humanism and the sooner we quit trying to impose our will on the rest of the world will the rest of the world not feel the need to fight back against us. As you should know, Islam is the religion of peace and most understand that, and that is why no one should have to stand up and denounce what is essentially resistance against Western cultural hegimony!
^ Moderates are by their very nature, er, moderate. That’s why you don’t hear them shouting. Perhaps you should listen more carefully.
Do “your” radicals listen to your moderate protests?
I estimate that tcl is a polygot as a world citizen who is very obviously well educated and understands the virtues of the Progressive movement. I bet he at least speaks English and French, and I would hazard a guess at Latin. Maybe Spanish also.
tlc asked: ”How do who know what about what? I have conceded I do not read foreign language media…”
How do folks know about you confronting extremism?
Who and what is your audience? If someone in the Middle-east hasn’t heard or read you, then, in their view, you haven’t confronted extremism. Your yardstick.
All the Muslims I know have expressed dismay & disgust at the extremists’ words and actions. I don’t need a TV show or a news article, especially in my own language, to tell me this.
The wonderful part of “Views…” cartoons is that it is meant to provide a window into the opinions of others beyond the USA since the overwhelming majority of posters here, unlike you and me, are American.
