Anybody give to the Navy Vets’ Association?

Corruption at its finest, with Rove and shrub posed with “Commander Bobby Thompson.”

    “Hire more death panels.”

Those are known as “private insurers.”

Actually, if you don’t count homicides, suicides, and road fatalities, the USA has the HIGHEST life expectancy in the world.

Not that the leftist vermin are interesting in acknowledging any fact that detracts from their campaign to obliterate freedom and reduce all persons to the status of government-owned livestock.

^ “If you don’t count …” That’s like saying Iraq is a good place if you don’t count the suicide bombings. If it’s a prevalent problem, it’s a prevalent problem. America’s a healthy country if you don’t count the obesity. =/

Harrison said; “if you don’t count homicides, suicides, and road fatalities,”

Count it or not, people die that way!

And to be fair, you’d have to remove those things from other countries’ rankings, too.

On the other hand, the U.S. is probably near the bottom of the list for deaths by camel trampling.

There are hundreds of factors that affect life expectancy. America has clean water, abundant food, very good sources of shelter and warmth, and excellent healthcare. It has many safe communities and still has many opportunities for prosperity. Rankings based on whatever, people have every “opportunity” in America, which is the most important thing.

That’s my dream – a world without nuclear weapons, war, pollution, poverty, inequality, prejudice, disease…and chewing gum.

Ah yes, I’d forgotten that the “liberal” government of Singapore had banned the chewing of gum in public. There has to be a tad bit of irony somewhere in that observation.

I defy any left-wing would-be slaver who uses life expectancy to justify having the government seize control of the health care system, and thus all of our lives, would do anything to reduce homicides and auto fatalities.

What most leftists fail to acknowledge is that their ideology is one of slavery, one where all persons are treated as government property. Their lives, their property, their wealth, the fruits of their labors; all subject to the whims of a totalitarian government. Socialism, communism; whatever.

@coot: Well that’s just it. What people call “liberal” these days is an ideology dedicated to the destruction of liberty.

    @ Ha Berg

Not sure if you noticed, but

Life expectancy is a MacGuffin in this cartoon. Are you just cracking wise?

Liberals wont try to reduce homicides or auto fatalities? Are you referring to gun control laws and seatbelt requirements? I can’t tell if you are saying no one has made those laws for the safety of people, or if you are saying you are mad they exist.

Again I’m assuming you are posting this to be ironic, because it seems a little too Ayn Rand…

Those laws were made to enslave, not to protect. “Liberals” consider all persons to be property, and have no regard for the freedom, rights, and liberty of others. The left and the right are, ultimately, the same thing: ideologies centered around the enslavement of the human race, enemies of liberty, enemies of humanity.
