Ralph says, "?Sigh?" Norman says, "What's wrong?" Ralph says, "Sometimes I feel like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders!" Norman says, "That's understandable. Your hat size is 8.25!" Ralph says, "That's not the reason!" Norman says, "I'm just saying!"

In the 70s and 80’s almost everyone started or ended OR started AND ended their sentences with, “You know”. Now they start with, “I mean” and end them with, “I’m just saying”. Or, like Norman, the entire sentence was, “I’m just saying”!
During the time of “You know”, it was easy to get someone’s goat by just saying, “Oh, I know. The question is, do YOU know”?
