The two of you shouldn’t even have survived the splashdown. That rock on top of the capsule is where the parachutes come out.

With the rock strapped to the top like that, I would have expected a meteoric reentry through the atmosphere.
Held in place with a rope that survives the friction of the earths atmosphere at 3000 degrees Fahrenheit? Now that’s funny!
