Just like the old ambulance days, it was load and go to whoever got there first. If you got there second you pulled up just enough so #1 couldn’t get their stretcher out. A few fist fights ensued.
Perhaps I’m being too literal here… I see a stiff, so I start to understand, but I’m not seeing any competition — they are all from the coroner’s. Where’s the competition?
