I’m often in Windsor and I overhear some chats from the traditional British middle-class folks (my foreign accent marks me out as not part of their class). They’re aghast that their universal child benefits are being cut. bleeep and there they thought just the subclasses were going to pay. I’d shrug and say they got what they deserved by voting them in but then so did I, it’s a coalition afterall.
