AMERICAN corporations are paying to produce those products with cheap labor. Exports are mostly “non-union” wage workers IN the U.S. today. It isn’t insurance or salaries, it’s all about PROFITS for CEOs- don’t blame the Chinese, “American” cars are being sold there.
This is off on a tangent….
One friend of mine was ranting about how American cars were not selling well in Japan, and was ranting about quality issues, etc.
I pointed out that American cars have the steering wheel on the wrong side for Japanese roads… change subject.

Yeah, I guess a kuai artificially kept low does make it another wall of China.
