“Cheer up, things could be worse!” “So I cheered up, and guess what? They got worse!”

Has Dumpsterfire said ANYTHING about the fires in California and all the people that have DIED there, or is it like Puerto Rico, and there are NOT ENOUGH DEAD to make it a “Real” disaster??

Trump said his phone call to California was a “10” He said California faced a worse fire than Chicago, but we can’t put out fires forever. He went on to say California knew what is was getting itself in to and that he really believed Melania was next to him in the room he was calling from. It was later reveled his score of 10 was out of 100.

I haven’t heard that Trump has made any comments about the California fires. That’s actually probably a good thing. You know how us Californians are. If we got too insulted we might secede from the Union. And you know California contributes a lot of taxes and food and energy and water so …..well, maybe not so much water… we’ve had droughts… But still. …? Maybe Trump knows better than to insult us. snrk snrk snnnnn sorry that wasn’t ladylike. And we have a lot more Twitter users then Trump can handle at one time. We could crash his Twitter account.

Did you read that city of Dickinson, Texas is requiring hurricane aid applicants to pledge that they will not boycott Israel? How are those two even related!! What’s the logic behind such rules? So you surrender First Amendment in exchange for food and aid? https://www.aclu.org/news/texas-city-tells-people-no-hurricane-harvey-aid-unless-they-promise-not-boycott-israel

Sadly, the damage was largely due to poor land use planning and building codes, for years, in fire, flood, or other hazardous zones, that were totally inadequate and ignore “Mother Nature”.

I wonder if California will get their share of paper towels?

Yeah we’re going to need a lot of paper towels. With all the fires we’ve got going on we won’t have a lot of wood pulp this year to make them.
