Every Christmas I would buy my late wife 4 or 5 leather-bound journals, and every year she would fill each one with her thoughts. Never once did I seek to invade her privacy; it never occurred to me. I knew if she wanted to me to know what she was thinking that involved me … she would certainly let me know.

I have never understood why so many people hate her so much. She is no more obligated than anyone else to show anybody her private thoughts.
