My best friend growing up was die hard John Lennon fan. So he figured anyone John loves has to be as awesome as he was, so he bought the Plastic Ono Band album. Side A was pretty bad, he just stared at his hi-fi & all I kept thinking is why didn’t I bring ear plugs… then he flipped it over & one song took up almost the entire side & I swear I only heard swarms of insects make sounds/noise like that. He put it back in it’s sleeve & we biked back to Rockaway Sales & he told the cashier it skipped badly & got his money back. We never talked about Yoko Ono ever again.
