Republicans knew he was a snake when they picked him.

How on earth can they be surprised when he acts like a snake?

    .

Hatred Of Obama/Hillary was what they craved.

    And what they got.

Yes, I’m surprised the Stantis doesn’t seem to get the debt ceiling. Increasing the debt ceiling doesn’t increase the debt. I don’t think the vote should even exist, since I believe it’s Constitutionally required by the 14th Amendment. (“The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned.”)

If we decide that we won’t pay our debts, this economy will crash so fast it will make your head swim.

And what’s really absurd about the Congress deciding that we won’t pay our debts is that they are responsible for every cent of it.

Scott, you should recall that when Obama was in office, the Republicans — the Hatred Of Obama ones who picked Trump — DEMANDED that there be spending cuts.

Of course, they would NOT specify where to cut, but instead demanded that Obama decide — and shut down the government.

The Republicans have one agenda, but many facets including making it financially impossible to have our military spending currently and taking care of people. Weapons and soldiers they want, helping people like is? Never.

The debt will never be paid. There will be interest payments only. Someday the nationel debt will be $100 trillion. There is hope that the interest rate is never higher than it is now. Some day it will implode but it is kick the can down the road until then.
